Cinco de Mayo & Tor Pottery
We are running our third event with Tor Pottery here at Pachanga!
Get a hand-made "leather hard" cup made by Tor in their studio, a set of carving tools and some paint. Carve your design into the wall of the clay before adding colour using our underglaze paints. The results will be a sleek functional beaker with your own personal design and full belly of delicious Mexican treats.
✸ Free Margarita with every ticket
✸ All teaching/materials/firings/galzing included
Cinco de Mayo marks Mexico’s unexpected victory over French forces at the Battle of Puebla in the 1800s. France went on to shortly occupy parts of Mexico for a few years afterwards, so the battle isn’t widely celebrated across Mexico. Nonetheless, we believe every small victory deserves a celebration.
Join us for an evening that turns this quirky Franco–Mexican moment into a creative night: think pottery, good company, and a playful fusion of Mexican flavours with a dash of French flair plus a few of our staples that must not be missed.
