Pachanga is a casual, fun space that works for your friends and family for any occasion. Our vending machine stocks all kinds of fun - beers, wines, ciders, soft drinks and CBD drinks, and the occasional Mexican treat. So, make yourself at home and grab a drink at any time - Mi casa es su casa !
We serve locally roasted coffee, fresh margaritas, and it’s probably worth taking a look at our drinks cabinet and the selection of hand picked Tequilas, Mezcals, Gins, and other exotic spirits.
MADE FRESH
We pride ourselves in making as much as possible from scratch, using traditional techniques where possible, from our salsas, marinades, pickles & ferments - to even our tortillas (yes you heard right!). We smoke + cook our veggies & meats in our wood fired oven to deliver that extra layer of flavour, to transport you straight across the Atlantic to Mexico.

JUAN & CARLA
Meet John and Carla, the dynamic duo behind the magic at Pachanga. Carla, a skilled chef from Mexico, brings authentic flavours and vibrant energy to every dish with her passion for food and boundless creativity reflecting her deep-rooted love for Mexican cuisine. John, an experienced Zimbabwean engineer, complements Carla's culinary prowess with his strategic vision and adventurous entrepreneurial spirit, ensuring Pachanga's success.
Their journey began with a serendipitous flip of a coin , leading them to embark on a culinary adventure together.
From humble beginnings operating Mexican food van ‘’El Huichol’’ in 2016, they catered for weddings & events throughout the UK, which led to establishing a Taco Shack in 2020 nestled in the harbour of Newquay, Cornwall.
Amidst the salty breeze and bustling activity of the harbour, their taco shack flourished, becoming a beloved destination for locals & visitors alike. John and Carla's dedication and perseverance laid the foundation for their dream.
Today, their vision has come full circle as they proudly run Pachanga , a vibrant Mexican restaurant opened in 2023 just opposite the train station of Newquay.
John and Carla invite you to join them on a journey of flavour and culture, where every meal is a celebration of their dream to share the best of Mexico with you.
